Want to know who we are? Why we do? When we did? Then read on….
Rollin Dice was born from a drunken conversation by Andy Jones and Richard Smith in late December 2013. Dragging their feet and recording what we now refer to as the ‘lost episodes’ we learnt about the dangerous tides of podcasting the hard way. Sometime in April (I think, could have been March) we found ourselves needing some help. Enter BritToid podcaster and all round nice guy Dan Seto to help steer the ship HMS Rollin Dice. We then launched in early July 2014 to thunderous applause and several (fictional) award nominations.

We don’t know much about Barrett. We know he’s American and we know when we needed an extra writer so we didn’t feel exhausted he appeared in our inboxes happy to contribute. Barrett brings a different voice and style to the site that we wouldn’t and couldn’t add to ourselves. What would Barrett say he was? He’d probably say he’s a “graduate educated professor, performer and academically published writer with an interest in helping consumers, students and tabletop game hobbyists in navigating their respective interests with shrewd decisions”. Which is pretty awesome to us.
Thank you for taking the time to read about us! We hope you enjoy the site and the content we put out. Running our website costs money so to help with getting some of those costs back we have got Amazon UK Affiliate links on the site. These appear on the sidebar on the main page and with orange links in the posts. All they simply do is provide us a small percentage of the amount you pay. You don’t pay any more than normal but it goes a long way to helping us.
Dan Seto – Dan was with us at the beginning. The man taught us how to podcast, how we should run a site effectively and most importantly, which JRPGs we should be playing. Dan left the site at the end of 2015 and literally leaves a legacy with us behind him. It won’t be the last you see of Dan, he’s still got an open invitation for all of our podcasts and videos and we’ll be forever grateful for his help and support.
Thanks again for your help and support! Tweet us if you want to chat.
